Here’s what you can order with your Vivint smart system
Unlike most security companies, Vivint’s security and automation services are available to renters. Here are some of the most in demand components and services:
Door alarms and glass break sensors can warn you when an uninvited visitor enters your place. Get an alert to your phone when an sensor triggers, or arm and disarm your components remotely to let in maintenance or guests when you’re at work.
Environmental safety detectors
Smoke detectors usually come as part of your rental unit, but you may not get other safety alarms. Install a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water detector to alert you and your monitoring experts to problems before it’s too late.
Indoor or doorbell cameras
Your security cameras may be wirelessly put up so you can watch over certain rooms. A doorbell camera lets you view -- and talk to -- guests at the front door. See real-time HD feeds and alerts about suspicious movement through the Vivint App.
One of the benefits of going with Vivint is the monitoring experts that respond to tripped alarms. When a device goes off, your monitoring agents quickly calls you to see if you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll quickly call the emergency agency.
Home automation components
Smart components, like smart lighting, can be added to make your apartment more energy-efficient. Some items like a smart thermostat or smart locks may need prior office approval.
The Vivint App
Your Manchester security system is able to be controlled anywhere through the Vivint App. Watch live security feeds, remotely turn on and off components, or set up times for alarms and lights. Then receive texts to your mobile device if a sensor triggers or a camera picks up a suspected lurker.
